Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network System Administrator-III to join our team in El Segundo, CA.\nThe Network/Systems Administrator-III supports Special Access Programs (SAPs) and other classified networks supporting Space Systems Command (SSC) Directorates and Operational Units. You will provide day-to-day administrative and technical support across Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP activities in a full-time, on-site operational environment.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nInstall, configure, audit, and support secure MS Windows operating environments, local file servers, network access controls, and limited web/data application services.\nMaintain core network protocols and services (IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL), firewalls, and Security Monitoring Systems while preserving complete systems documentation.\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software anomalies quickly to optimize equipment performance and satisfy local customer mission requirements.\nPerform scheduled maintenance routines, hardware upgrades, firmware updates, configuration changes, and routine system backups across on-site and off-site storage libraries.\nPrepare classified IT systems for operational fielding and assist with integrated operational test events.\nInterface with customers, IT staff, and program managers during requirements and planning sessions to provide dependable technical guidance.\nProvide peer leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance reviews for junior team members to maintain continuous operational readiness.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a related technical area; an additional 4 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree.\n6+ years of total related experience\n4+ years of relevant SCI or SAP computing environments (minimum 2 years of direct SAP experience).\nActive DoD Directive 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA, CySA+, or CND) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, and applicable Windows operating system professional certifications aligned with customer and mission requirements.\nProven technical competency managing core networking protocols, enterprise system backups, and secure network infrastructure.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of Windows Server environments, enterprise messaging services, and integrated Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) architectures.\nDirect familiarity with JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI standards, with experience handling PL1 through PL4 cross-domain solutions.\nStrong working background in DoD security manuals, ICD policies, and legacy system Certification and Accreditation (C&A) lifecycles.\nClearance Requirements:\nAn active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to start.\nApplicants must be eligible for access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).\nMust have a willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph examination.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time in closed-area offices.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\nNeed to occasionally move about inside and outside the office to access files, cabinets, or safes, and to install or remove computer-related equipment.\nPosition requires local and regional travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) via air and ground transportation.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $165,900.00-$295,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
