This is a remote position.\nThe Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) uses the ABAP development stack to develop end user business applications, and you would be responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post release support of SAP Integration solution architecture.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nModifying software systems based upon detailed software specifications and designs.\nUsing sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code that is modifiable, efficient, reliable, and understandable.\nDesigning, coding, and testing functional components of information systems according to project specifications.\nDeveloping project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.\nProducing database extracts to support system data requirements and reporting.\nWorking with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements.\nRecommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree and least 3 years’ experience in incorporating a combination of SAP S/4HANA PI/PO skills and modern API framework to enable system-to-system, communication, data exchange, and integration is required.\nSignificant experience modifying software based upon complex software specifications and technical designs.\nProven experience using sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code for reliability and efficiency.\nExperience designing code and testing functional components of information systems according to specific project requirements.\nExperience developing technical project documentation and comprehensive user training materials.\nExperience producing database extracts and maintaining system baselines and configuration management items.\nExperience working across a large team to drive a technical agenda and working with complex, intertwined systems and data flows Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.\nGood knowledge of user interfaces, SAP development tools, UI frameworks aand SAP Business Technology Platform.\nSAP and Profressional Certifications desired\nClearance Requirements:\nMust be a US Citizen and be willing and able to undergo a Tier 2 Investigation with favorable results prior to starting this position.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $75,800.00-$127,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
