Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Data Engineer to join our team inHerndon, VA. in this role you are responsible for building and maintaining enterprise data feeds that power network and security intelligence platforms. In this role, you will integrate data from multiple vendor APIs, create robust ETL pipelines, and leverage AI to handle complex data extraction and normalization challenges.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nDesign and maintain enterprise data feeds from 10+ network and security vendor APIs.\nBuild intelligent parsers that handle diverse data formats.\nOrchestrate automated pipelines for regular data download, transformation, and loading.\nEnsure reliability and performance through continuous monitoring, error handling, and optimization.\nAdapt to system changes by quickly resolving API updates, data format changes, and vendor issues.\nIntegrate AI capabilities for data extraction, classification, anomaly detection, and auto-healing.\nPerform technical evaluations of new tools for potential use and positive impact on project processes.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma and 10+ years’ experience with Systems Engineering, Data Engineering or similar technical role\n5+ years’ experience building production data pipelines with Python\nExperience consuming REST or similar APIs at scale\nExperience with network and security tools such as Nmap, Rapid7, or similar tools\nExperience integrating AI capabilities with applications for efficient code responses\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field\nExperience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)\nStrong software testing practices and quality standards\nClearance Requirements: Active/current TS/SCI with polygraph is required\nPhysical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $141,500.00-$236,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
