This is a hybrid position with on-site presence on Thursdays.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nSupport the General Ledger department during month-end close and assist in preparing GAAP financial statements.\nOwn and prepare complex, high-priority balance sheet reconciliations\nPrepare, review, and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accruals.\nSupport the General Ledger department during month-end close and assist in preparing GAAP financial statements.\n Review accounting documents and schedules to ensure computational accuracy and compliance with internal policies\nMinimum Qualifications:\nRequires bachelor’s degree (in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration). Preferably, an accounting degree with 4 years’ experience.\nAbility to handle stress and work well under pressure\nExperience leading meetings with other depts\nAbility to use MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point\nAbility to handle stress and work well under pressure\nMulti-tasking ability with strong organizational skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAnalytical and critical thinking skills\nExperience with PeopleSoft financials or another government contractor financial software package\nExperience with PeopleSoft and Deltek Costpoint\nClearance Requirements:\nUS Citizenship\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time\nOccasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
