Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.\nYou will support mission-critical infrastructure by managing specialized cybersecurity applications, providing engineering support, and optimizing workflow efficiencies to defend enterprise networks.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nPerform engineering support and system administration of specialized cybersecurity applications and systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and backup/restore.\nProvide expertise in creating, editing, and managing scan policies, audit files, scan jobs, reports, dashboards, and custom content for tools such as Tenable Nessus and ServiceNow integration.\nDeliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 maintenance support for deployed cybersecurity technologies and ensure compliance with customer policies, procedures, and TASKORDs.\nProvide customer support via phone, email, or messaging services to troubleshoot vulnerability scanning issues, maintaining clear communication throughout the resolution process.\nProvide ideas for and integrate automation of repetitive project tasks and metrics collection using scripts, assisting with testing and production implementation.\nSupport Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities related to cybersecurity technologies, updating project documentation and resolving tool implementation conflicts.\nAnalyze customer feedback, policies, and workflows to provide recommendations for process improvements and increased project efficiency.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional experience in lieu of a degree\n5+ years of experience working with IT and/or IT device experience\nWorking knowledge of the Tenable Network Security product suite and enterprise vulnerability scanning operations.\nSolid understanding of Windows and Linux systems administration, operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts.\nDemonstrated technical knowledge of cybersecurity enterprise scanning, continuous monitoring, enterprise host/network security, and intrusion detection.\nTechnical ability to convert functional cybersecurity requirements into system requirements and apply cybersecurity architectural principles (e.g., defense-in-depth, resilience).\nExcellent organizational, planning, communication, and customer service skills with strong attention to detail.\nActive IAT Level II certification, or the ability and willingness to obtain IAT Level II certification within 6 months of hire.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of and proficiency in using Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies and ServiceNow.\nUnderstanding of federal cybersecurity guidance, including NIST SP 800-37 (Risk Management Framework) and NIST SP 800-137 (Information Security Continuous Monitoring).\nExperience with automation and scripting technology capabilities to streamline repetitive workflow processes.\nAbility to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities independently or as part of a collaborative team.\nSecurity Clearance Requirements:\nMust possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\nAbility to work in a cubicle environment without distractions.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $114,600.00-$190,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
