Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.\nYou will play a vital role in leading technical operations, executing cyber security engineering solutions, and safeguarding mission-critical enterprise systems.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to\nAssist in the creation of fully developed project schedules utilizing the Enterprise Scheduling Service platform (ESS) built on Microsoft Project.\nAssist with creating quality briefing decks, including detailed cost estimates, for senior leadership presentation.\nAuthor and organize document deliverables, perform customer engagement, document technical requirements, and manage customer communications.\nCoordinate the engineering, integration, and administration functions required to deliver capabilities, documentation, and services to the operational and engineering baseline.\nEnsure that all aspects of projects are completed and delivered according to the implementation plan and schedule.\nCoordinate the build-out and testing of sophisticated applications and tools in virtual and physical environments.\nManage incident/request ticket queues through ServiceNow and assist with the management of Tier 2-4 support to customer systems, to include potential after-hours and weekend support.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of additional experience in lieu of degree.\n5+ years of relevant cyber security work experience, including direct experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF).\nExperience managing or leading small to medium sized teams supporting engineering operations\nExperience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office products, or similar project management and collaboration platforms\nAbility to demonstrate understanding and appropriate application of DoD/IC policy and technical security guidance to information systems\nMust hold an active IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) or have the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.\nPreferred Qualifications\nManagerial and leadership experience leading small to medium technical teams.\nGeneral knowledge of security technologies such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, log monitoring, and endpoint protection.\nPrevious System Administrator (SA) or systems engineering experience.\nAbility to effectively interact with various levels of senior management to clearly articulate ideas for executive-level and technical staff consumption.\nAbility to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are met\nClearance Requirements\nMust possess an active TS/SCI with a polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $114,600.00-$190,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
