Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA or Denver, CO.\nThe Senior Cyber Security Engineer will leverage their strong technical background to support specialized cybersecurity systems, work directly with customers on tool onboarding and troubleshooting, and provide Tier 2 and 3 maintenance support across deployed technologies.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nWorking closely with customers on onboarding, updates, and troubleshooting issues with cybersecurity tools, while providing support via phone, email, or messaging services.\nProviding Tier 2 and 3 maintenance support, engineering support, and system administration for specialized cybersecurity applications, including installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and backup/restore operations.\nCollaborating with engineers on troubleshooting and building proof-of-concept network topologies, while analyzing customer feedback to assist in overall process improvement.\nSupporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities related to cybersecurity technologies and identifying potential conflicts with enterprise tool implementation.\nDeveloping recommendations to remediate tool conflicts and providing ideas for automating repetitive project tasks and metrics collection using scripts.\nUpdating project documentation and providing insights into workflow efficiencies based on a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements.\nPerforming other project and corporate duties as assigned to support customer mission requirements.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.\nExperience with firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.\nKnowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts.\nKnowledge of and proficiency in the use of AWS technologies.\nMust have or be willing to obtain an IAT Level II certification within 3 months of hire.\nExcellent written/oral communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nUnderstanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 (RMF) and NIST SP 800-137 (ISCM).\nExperience in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.\nAbility to function in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and interact with various levels of senior management.\nOn-the-job training availability for RedSeal, Forward Networks, and other specialized cybersecurity tools.\nClearance Requirements:\nAn active TS/SCI with Polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\nAbility to work in a cubicle environment without distractions.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $114,600.00-$190,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
