This is a Hybrid position. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of client engagement experts, data engineers and data scientists to provide\neffective and efficient data solutions for commercial clients across a range of industries and environments. The ideal candidate will have deep data engineering skills and experience, and a customer-oriented approach to applying technology to complex problems.\nResponsibilities:\nWork closely with commercial clients to understand their business needs, translate those into engineering requirements, and design and implement compelling solutions.\nDesign and implement robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data from various systems and networks, ensuring seamless data flow.\nCollaborate with cloud and system architects to establish secure and efficient data transfer protocols among different networks and systems.\nDevelop and enforce data quality standards, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of integrated data.\nContribute to RFIs, proposals, and subject matter expertise as needed for business development.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases\nExperience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.\nKnowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.\nExperience with cloud services from providers such as Azure, AWS, or Oracle and their data storage and processing services\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and/or SQL.\nExperience with data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies\nFamiliarity and comfort with version control systems such as Git.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with data security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST framework).\nCloud certifications such as Azure Databricks Data Engineer Certification, AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or similar.\nExperience with agile development methodologies.\nKnowledge of data governance.\nFamiliarity with Dimensional Modeling practices.\nFamiliarity with Project Management fundamentals, comfortable with communicating resource needs and discussing project level concerns.\nClearance Requirements:\nUS Citizenship is required\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time\nMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
