The Senior DevOps Engineer will leverage their technical background to help deliver automation and big data analytics for the IC community. You will be trained in DevOps and work alongside a collaborative team of Software Developers, Systems Development Engineers, Network Engineers, and Data Engineers to develop unique software that enables customer networks to safely operate at scale.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDeploying and provisioning AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and VPC configurations to support scalable architecture\nBuilding, maintaining, and troubleshooting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitLab and GitHub\nRunning routine vulnerability scans, applying patches, and updating cloud and physical infrastructures to ensure security compliance\nDesigning and maintaining Kubernetes and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and productivity for the development team\nCollaborating with stakeholders to ensure complete and functional systems that meet all requirements\nRecommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBS in Computer Science or similar technical discipline and 10+ years’ technical experience or High School Diploma and 14+ years of technical experience\n11+ years’ experience with DevOps, front end development or full stack development\nExperience with Bash scripting\nExperience working within AWS or similar cloud environments\nExperience working with Linux administration and systems design\nExperience creating CI/CD pipelines\nExperience with network documentation including security compliance, configuration management, and patching.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and infrastructure orchestration using Terraform.\nExpertise in JavaScript/ECMASCRIPT, including code stitching, minimization, and Restful API development.\nKnowledge of automated hardware appliance deployment, PKI infrastructure, and encryption at rest services.\nExperience working across a large team to drive technical agendas and working with complex, intertwined systems\nClearance Requirements: Current/active TS/SCI with polygraph is required\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $179,300.00-$318,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
