Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Engineering Technician to join our team working in North Charleston, SC. This is an onsite position.\nThe Engineering Technician in this role will provide support for the vehicular C4ISR/EW initiative, a role that is crucial to supporting our vehicle integration mission.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nProvide technical support required to integrate, repair, maintain and assist in the development or replacement of USMC communication systems/equipment.\nAssist with developing technical content, system configuration/troubleshooting, and day-to-day support.\nAnalyze technical data to select design layouts and prepare detailed specifications, parts lists, and procedures.\nReview engineering drawings and equipment designs and assist in planning performance evaluation tests.\nEstablish test procedures, conduct testing using specialized instruments, evaluate results, and report findings and recommendations.\nManages complex assignments, coordinates cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and integrates technical work across small-to-large projects.\nTrain and be assisted by lower-level technicians.\nTravel up to 25% including the ability to support fly away missions (TDY) for an extended amount of time without returning home.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n6+ years of engineering technician experience with an Associate degree or formal electronics training OR 10+ years of relevant experience with a High School diploma or GED.\nExperience designing, preparing and modifying engineering documents and drawings.\nExperience performing one or a combination of the following duties:Designing, developing, and constructing major units, devices, or equipment\nConducting tests or experiments, analyzing the results and redesigning or modifying equipment to improve performance.\nDeveloping designs for equipment without critical performance requirements.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong knowledge of mechanical PMCS\nOperational knowledge of USMC voice and data modes of communications, to include: UHF, VHF, High Band, HF, SATCOM, SINCGARS, ANW2\nExperience with operation of RF test equipment for maintenance and troubleshooting\nClearance Requirements:\nU.S. Citizenship required and an active or current Secret Security Clearance\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nSafely operate power tools and hand tools required for assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks.\nFrequently lift, carry, and maneuver equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds independently\nPerform tasks in outdoor environments across
