Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Field Support Technician to join our team in Arlington, VA.\nThis position may require travel up to 25% within the continental united states.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nThe Field Support Technician provides advanced onsite and remote technical support, specializing in complex troubleshooting and problem resolution\nThey diagnose and resolve challenging hardware and software issues, install and configure complex equipment, and provide expert technical assistance to end users and Junior Technicians\nThey lead onsite maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations\nThey communicate effectively with clients, explaining complex technical concepts clearly and concisely\nThey develop and maintain knowledgebase articles and training materials, contributing to the team’s knowledgebase and improving support efficiency\nThey also mentor Junior Technicians, providing guidance and support in their professional development\nThe Field Support Technician III provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHS diploma and nine (7) years of professional experience as a field service technician, systems administrator, network administrator or i a similar role troubleshooting ad problem-solving IT systems and networks.\nOR a Bachelor's Degree and five (5) or more years of position relevant experience.\nMust obtain at least one of the following certifications within 3 months of starting: CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, AZ 104, MD 102.\nMost posses DOD 8140 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.\nExperience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).\nAdvanced vendor-specific certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNP), CISSP or other advanced security certifications, ITIL Practitioner (or higher), and Project Management certifications.\nExperience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have an active TS/SCI clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\nRequired Travel up to 25%\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
