Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our AI innovation team in Ashburn, VA. This is currently a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite/week.\nEach day U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) oversees the massive flow of people, capital, and products that enter and depart the United States via air, land, sea, and cyberspace. The volume and complexity of both physical and virtual border crossings require the application of solutions to aid officers in detecting threats while promoting efficient trade and travel.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nLead and perform development and maintenance of end-user focused, object-oriented, data-driven analytic applications to support CBP threat analysis and targeting in an agile environment.\n\nDesign, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance and reliable applications and microservices using Java (including frameworks like Spring Boot, Jakarta etc.) for the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js) for the frontend.\n\nContribute to all phases of the software engineering lifecycle (SELC), including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.\n\nDevelop and consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between front-end and backend systems.\n\nDevelop new code, modify existing application code, conduct unit and system testing, and engage in rigorous documentation of developed and delivered application use cases, data flows, and functional operations.\n\nDevelop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g. using Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Harness) for automated builds, testing, and deployments.\n\nDemonstrate a strong practical understanding to integrate rapid deployment process of AI/ML services into application delivery framework for targeting.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHS Diploma/GED and 15-20 years or AS/AA and 13-18 years or BS/BA and 7-12 years or MS/MA/MBA and 5-9 years or PhD/Doctorate and 3-7 years.\n\nProven expertise in Java development, including core Java concepts, object-oriented design principles/patterns and modern frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Spring Framework).\n\nHands on experience developing Micro Services architecture patterns including building and deploying containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nExperience with messaging queues such as gRPC, RabbitMQ, Kafka.\n\nHands-on experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated application delivery using Harness or Jenkins.\n\nExperience with RESTful API design and development.\n\nSolid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS and related cloud services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS).\n\nExperience working with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).\n\nHands on experience leveraging distributed data/computing tools including Hadoop, Spark, Impala, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Solr, etc.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development methodology.\n\nSolid understanding of software development lifecycles.\n\nClearance Requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen with a current/active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain DHS CBP suitability prior to starting this position.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.\n\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $114,600.00-$190,200.00.
