Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\n***This is for a future opportunity***\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Inventory Management Specialist to join our team.\nIn this role, you will approve technical inventory schedules, conduct advanced physical audits, and serve as a Technical Lead for asset lifecycle inspections to enhance material readiness and property accountability across forward deployed and austere environments.\nResponsibilities\nApprove technical inventory schedules and conduct advanced physical audits of facility and field assets.\n\nValidate asset condition codes and authorize modifications to storage and tracking workflows to enhance material readiness.\n\nServe as a Technical Lead for asset lifecycle inspections and provide expert recommendations for equipment modernization and property accountability improvements.\n\nAuthorize the technical management of asset tracking systems at forward-deployed sites in remote maritime environments.\n\nValidate theaterwide property records to identify and resolve discrepancies in mission-essential equipment accounts.\n\nOversee the development of asset Protection Plans to ensure the security and accountability of specialized gear in austere locations.\n\nProvide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n\n10+ years of position-relevant experience in property or inventory management.\n\nDemonstrated experience in technical quality oversight and formal asset documentation.\n\nProven track record managing property records and resolving equipment account discrepancies.\n\nDemonstrated experience leading technical inventory teams or serving as a technical lead.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with USPACOM property management.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of DoD 4000.25-M and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) standards.\n\nValid Forklift or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.\n\nClearance Requirements\nMust possess or be eligible for a Secret security clearance.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\n\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office and warehouse facilities to inspect equipment and access property records.\n\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and government stakeholders, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\n\nMust be able to lift or handle material equipment up to 50 lbs as necessary during physical audits.\n\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
