Meade, MD.\nIn this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, as well as manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.\nManage IT system infrastructure and processes related to client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.\nPerform Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support: problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.\nOptimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and system planning.\nConfigure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems; install, load, and enhance OS software for improved reliability and performance.\nTroubleshoot and maintain system integrity and network components.\nProvide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers on escalated issues.\nSupport the design of system architectures and associated hardware.\nMinimum Qualification\nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; an additional 4 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree.\n20+ years of related experience in systems administration or IT operations.\nExperience with Linux, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.\nSecurity Clearance Requirements:\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., calculator, copy machine, printer).\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
