The work location will initially be in Chantilly, VA, before relocating to Arlington, VA. This is a full-time, onsite position working the second shift (typically 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nProviding Tier II IT Systems support on a wide range of technologies, including VMware vCenter, Horizon View, Site Recovery Manager, SolarWinds, Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC), GEMOne, HP SANs, Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems\nDiagnosing and resolving the performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed above\nWriting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accomplish repetitive tasks\nParticipating in processes throughout all phases of the ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests\nPerforming requirements analysis, requirements gathering, and integration for all platforms listed above \nProviding direction and guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers \nInvestigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel \nWorking on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer’s production IT environment\nThis is a second shift position. Work hours will be 2pm - 10pm EST, Monday through Friday.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Systems Support and/or Administration experience; an Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or a High School Diploma with 11+ years of Systems Support/Administration experience may be accepted in lieu of degree\nDoD 8570 IAT Level II/8140 level intermediate Certification required, ex, Security+\nDoD 8570 computing environment certification required within 6 months of hire, ex., MCSA, VCP, or equivalent\nExperience with Microsoft Windows Systems, specifically: Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 Servers; Microsoft Windows 10/11; administering Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and workstation and server hardware; administering Microsoft Office 2016; administering DNS, Group Policy, and PKI; administering vSphere or Horizon View, data backup, and antivirus software; basic networking including DHCP or TCPIP\nExperience with CISCO networking devices and TACLANE encryption devices\nWorking knowledge of VMWare, and CISCO systems \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience applying security best practices from DISA and/or vendors\nStrong background with the Microsoft Office suite\nBasic networking expertise\nExperience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as Remedy or ServiceNow\nITIL Foundations certification \nScripting experience or willingness to learn\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current or active TS/SCI clearance, and be willing and able to obtain a polygraph\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $107,900.00-$179,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
