Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Windows Engineer to join our team in Laurel, MD.\nYou will become an integral part of a diverse team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce in defense of our Nation. This role supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing the customer's backbone Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) platform, collaborating with Integrated Product Teams and vendors to deploy, manage, and scale critical compute and data center services.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nProvision, manage, and maintain Windows servers across online and air-gapped environments.\nConfigure network adapters, storage, firewalls, and connected core enterprise services.\nDeploy monitoring tools to detect system anomalies and proactively prevent service disruptions.\nPerform root cause analysis on outages and implement lasting preventive engineering fixes.\nSupport hardware, software, and appliance deployments, OS upgrades, and security patching.\nTranslate complex user requirements and system architectures into actionable technical specifications.\nDeliver Tier 1-3 escalation support for client, server, and network issues while administering user accounts.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and fourteen (14) years of relevant experience, or nineteen (19) years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma/GED.\nExperience with Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO) Administration to enforce security baselines and manage domain environments.\nExperience with automation tools such as SaltStack to automate deployment and maintain configuration state across infrastructure.\nExperience administering VMware environments to host, manage, and scale high-availability virtual machines and private clouds.\nExperience implementing and maintaining Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools \nExperience managing virtual desktop infrastructure using tools such as Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMware Horizon) for VDI delivery.\nDoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA-Security, GSEC, CND, or SSCP).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with PowerShell scripting for advanced task automation and systems administration.\nExperience managing secure computing environments to adhere to DISA STIGs and NIST 800-53 security controls.\nExperience with Ansible configuration management and orchestration tools.\nExperience with Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system environments.\nClearance Requirements:\nActive Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and server equipment.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
