This dynamic role is embedded in an innovative Big Data ecosystem where collaboration and growth are encouraged.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nYou will help sustain and improve the organization’s Windows infrastructure as part of a collaborative systems team. Your focus will span operations, security, and integration of hardware and software.\nResearch and resolve operating system problems efficiently and accurately in adherence to organizational standards\nTroubleshoot operating system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development and networking\nBuild and harden Windows servers, establish and manage configuration baselines\nPlan, test, install, integrate, and maintain new or updated operating systems\nApply security and firmware patches promptly; assist in maintaining patch management strategies\nTest and integrate new hardware and software components\nManage the lifecycle of operating systems\nDesign interfaces to external systems and maintain thorough documentation on system configurations and processes\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma and 7+ years of relevant experience with Windows systems\nExperience with complex system architectures and interconnected data environments\nHands-on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and Centrify for domain management\nExperience and proficiency applying security patches within enterprise systems\nExperience scripting in PowerShell, VB, or similar tools\nExperience and ability to manage environments running Windows Server 2008/2012/2016\nExperience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Access Control Service (ACS)\nExperience with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, and antivirus solutions including Symantec and McAfee\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with LAN, SAN, TCP/IP, and Cisco network configurations\nMCSE or MCITP certifications\nExperience with VMware 5+ and a VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) credential\nSecurity Clearance Requirements\nAn active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nMust be able to use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
