This is an onsite position.\nThe Software Developer will work in support of the Army for the Product Technical Support Services (PTSS) program. Efforts are needed for PTSS for systems and equipment being\nproduced, fielded, modified or supported by PdM Network Modernization (NetMod) and PdM\nMission Network of the Project Manager (PM) Command and Control (C2) Transport of the Command Program Executive for C2 Information Network (CPE C2IN). This support may also\ninclude future systems and equipment that are developed and acquired for the Army to maintain its technological\nadvantage.\nJob responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDesigning, developing, and maintaining software for a variety of engineering applications\nWorking with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements\nDeveloping tools and interfaces\nDesigning, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications for both Windows and Linux systems\nSetting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements\nDesigning embedded systems software\nResponsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications\nCollaborate with teams to meet user needs, ensuring the functionality and quality of the software across different platforms and systems.\nIdentify areas for improvement and implement updates based on user feedback.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science and 10+ years of relevant experience in software development.\n5+ years in the Department of Defense supporting software development preferred.\nAbility to analyze user requirements, create software architecture, and write code to build applications according to specifications. \nAbility to conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs and issues in the software. \nExperience with creating documentation for developed software, including user guides and technical specifications. \nPossess basic programming language skills such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript.\nExperience with programming on Linux systems.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong command of relevant programming languages based on the project requirements \nAbility to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement them effectively\nClearance Requirements:\nMust be a U.S Citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. \nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
