Meade, MD area.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nDevelops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.\nWorks individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports.\nUtilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.\nProvides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf\n(COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.\nMinimum Requirements:\n12+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline or 4 years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\nUsage of Kubernetes/Docker\nProficiency in Linux environments.\nPython development skills.\nFront-end experience with React/TypeScript.\nFamiliarity with GitLab CI/CD\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Kubernetes NGINX Ingress Controller and Linkerd\nExperience in C/C++ (Rust Programming Language)\nExperience working with MongoDB.\nSome experience with UI development.\nBasic networking experience.\nExperience working with products such as Cisco Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator, Cisco APICs, vSphere, Vmware Horizon View, IPAM, and Keycloak.\nExperience with Ansible, running templates (bonus if you can write playbooks).\nExperience with system administration tasking (certs, PKI, troubleshooting)\nPrefer full-stack engineer who can handle both front-end and back-end development.\nClearance Requirement:\nMust have a current/active TS/SCI with Poly \nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $141,500.00-$236,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
