The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.\n*Important Note*: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nWorks to help the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective and coordinates the distribution point of incoming and outgoing material.\nRoutes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls and coordinates common carrier activities.\nUtilizes logistics software, maintaining customer database network system and profile by customer location.\nManages load utilization and references DOT regulations on hours of service.\nUpdates information for each customer and maintains customer delivery time windows.\nResponsible for tracking raw materials and manages communications associated with logistics distribution of material.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.\n2+ years of relevant experience:1+ yrs. of experience in the use of Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), GCSS-A or DOD equivalent to ensure military supply system proficiency and managing inventory and maintenance records without requiring basic software training.\n\nExperience in data entry to query and enter information for supply, acquisition, and inventory purposes, pull and stage equipment for shipment, package equipment for shipment and prepare the necessary paperwork, staging and shipping equipment for repair.\nExperience in inventory and requisition supplies, maintaining stock of supplies and equipment, operating material and handling equipment.\nAbility to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.\nWillingness to accept temporary US or OCONUS transfers to other assignments, if needed.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.\nMust be able to push, pull, and reach.\nMust be able to work in high noise areas.\nMust be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.\nMust be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $25,500.00-$42,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
