This role is 100% on-site.\nAs a Systems Engineer II (VMware Administrator), you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the NCTE VMware virtualization environment. You will collaborate closely with other IT professionals across contracts to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the NCTE virtualized infrastructure.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDesign, deploy, and configure VMware vSphere servers.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance.\nManage VMware vCenter Server, including resource allocation, and performance tuning.\nPlan and execute VMware ESXi host upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.\nCollaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, network, and other systems.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for VMware infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.\nProvide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams as needed.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma and 5+years of experience in managing VMware vSphere environments.\nProficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi administration.\nStrong understanding of virtualization concepts, technologies, and best practices.\nFamiliarity with storage, networking, and server hardware technologies.\nExcellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nVMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification preferred.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field\nClearance Requirements:\nMust hold an active Secret clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
