Technical skills get you to the table, but your ability to advise clients, solve complex business problems, and communicate effectively is what will drive your success here.\nYour day to day:\nThrive in our collaborative, flat-structured environment, where your day-to-day work is all about teamwork and shared decision-making\n\nLead and mentor team members to become the next generation of leaders and software professionals\n\nImplement technology solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations\n\nDevelop high quality code that can function with existing code, patterns and architectural techniques\n\nProvide clarification of technical requirements and the translation of these requirements into technical design\n\nMonitor and assess industry developments and incorporate them into solutions where appropriate\n\nChampion the adoption and evolution of AI-assisted development tools across teams and projects\n\nDesign and implement team-wide agentic coding workflows (setup-plan-act) that integrate with existing development practices\n\nEstablish team standards for shared context management, prompt libraries and reusable agentic patterns\n\nMentor engineers at all levels on effective AI-human collaboration in software development\n\nEffectively utilise development best practices such as CI/CD\n\nActively participate in team agile development practices\n\nEnsure appropriate quality is maintained through practices such as unit testing and shifting quality left\n\nDesign systems that can be deployed and managed effectively in a production environment.\n\nUse professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our five Mantel principles\n\nWhat you’ll need to be successful:\nExpertise in modern API technologies & microservices, in order to architect and develop solutions on both greenfield projects and existing applications\n\nStrong technical and team leadership experience, having led the technical direction on both projects and software engineering teams\n\nThe ability to code in .NET and have a willingness to learn new languages\n\nExperience building and maintaining cloud based applications - AWS / GCP / Azure\n\nExperience with agentic coding tools and ability to lead team adoption\n\nExperience architecting development workflows that integrate AI assistance with human expertise\n\nUnderstanding of AI code generation security and quality assurance frameworks\n\nProven experience establishing team ways of working with agentic tools, including:\nShared context repositories and knowledge management\n\nPrompt engineering standards and libraries\n\nYou are passionate about software development best practices such as CI/CD\n\nA self-starter mindset and an ability to work hands-on, to find answers and work with ambiguity\n\nValues driven and practical in your approach\n\nAt Mantel, we want you to be yourself.
