They contribute to development of our core platform and patterns to meet current and future client requirements.\nAs a Senior Cloud AI Engineer, you will develop and grow trusted relationships with clients, which complement the company’s commercial and strategic relationships, whilst mentoring other team members. You’ll contribute to the development of our core platform and patterns to meet current and future client requirements.\nYour day-to-day:\nProvide consulting services that combine architectural vision with hands-on technical experience using some of the latest cloud technologies and methods\n\nDesign, develop, build and operate sophisticated and highly automated secure GCP and Hybrid infrastructure that adheres with Industry compliance standards\n\nUse software development and Software Configuration Management (SCM), DevOps and Continuous Integration methods to build, configure and manage the infrastructure\n\nDefine and drive new architectures based on the applicable regulatory compliance standards and work with multiple stakeholders to gain endorsement\n\nPerform troubleshooting, analysis and resolve issues as needed to achieve project outcomes\n\nLiaise with the project team, clients, vendors and stakeholders using multiple communication channels to manage the delivery of the project\n\nEstablish and maintain relationships with clients as a source of informed, reliable, professional advice about solution options based on the consultant’s specific skills and knowledge.\n\nWillingness to continually upskill; including learning new technologies and obtaining new certifications\n\nBuild, recognise and promptly advise the leadership team of potential follow-on business opportunities.\n\nUse professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our five Mantel principles\n\nWhat you’ll need to be successful\nGood written & verbal communication skills, including strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills\n\nSpecialist knowledge of several industries or segments, coupled with strong analytical skills.\n\nAbility to identify trends within their practice relating to products and services and communicate them effectively to the wider practice.\n\nBring a positive can-do attitude to the team\n\nAbility to lead and mentor others where appropriate\n\nDemonstrated ability to adhere to reporting deadlines\n\nAt Mantel, we want you to be yourself. You're also a clear, kind communicator who makes sound decisions based on good judgement.\n\nWhat tech you’ll need to know:\nExperience in designing, deploying, and managing GCP solutions in complex enterprise environments\n\nProven experience with GCP cloud migration projects from assessment to implementation\n\nSolid knowledge of GCP networking, security, identity, and access management concepts and best practices\n\nExperience working with AI tooling such as Vertex AI & Gemini\n\nInfrastructure as code - Terraform or CDK\n\nCI/CD tooling - Gitlab-CI, BuildKite, AzureDevOps, GitHub Actions etc\n\nContainer technologies - Kubernetes, GKE\n\nContainerising applications and securing container workloads in the cloud\n\nServerless technologies - Serverless framework\n\nScripting and automating - Golang, Bash and/or Python\n\nExperience with observability implementation and management\n\nWe value diverse skill-sets, and don’t necessarily require that you have all of the above.
