This role will also develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and administration efficiencies while providing the leadership necessary to foster a high-performing culture, strong engagement, employee retention and a high-quality claims management organization.\nResponsibilities:\nLead, coach, mentor and develop staff members\nMonitor workflow management, conduct performance management and hire staff\nEnsure effective disability management practices are appropriately utilized\nProvide technical support and guidance on complex claims issues\nEstablish and support the development of customer relationships with key accounts\nQualifications:\nMinimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience\nStrong technical knowledge of Group Disability adjudication, insurance products and case management practices\nKnowledgeable in medical terminology\nExperience in technical training and development of staff\nCompletion of post-secondary education in health sciences field helpful:\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results oriented, multiple team environment\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent problem solving and analytical skills\nResults oriented with strong decision-making ability\nBilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
