This is an exciting opportunity to shape our workforce and contribute significantly to our organization's success.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nLead end-to-end recruitment for designated permanent roles across local and regional markets, from talent sourcing through to offer and onboarding.\nPartner closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand business requirements, define hiring criteria and develop appropriate talent acquisition strategies.\nManage the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring adherence to internal policies, compliance requirements and applicable local regulations.\nBuild strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates and internal stakeholders, providing market insights and talent advisory throughout the recruitment process.\nDevelop and execute effective sourcing strategies across multiple channels, including Workday, job portals, social media, professional networks, referrals and proactive market mapping.\nConduct candidate screening, interviews, assessments and background verification processes to ensure a consistent and high-quality hiring experience.\nDevelop and present strong, well-qualified candidate slates while advising and influencing hiring managers on talent availability and hiring decisions.\nLead and support campus recruitment and early-career hiring initiatives, including internships and graduate hiring programmes.\nBuild and maintain relationships with universities, polytechnics and other educational institutions to strengthen the organisation's early-career talent pipeline.\nPlan and participate in campus engagement activities, including career fairs, recruitment talks, networking sessions and other talent outreach events.\nMaintain accurate recruitment records and ensure recruitment activities are completed efficiently and in accordance with established processes.\nSupport broader employer branding and talent engagement initiatives to strengthen the organisation's presence across experienced and early-career talent markets.\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nMinimum 7 years of recruitment experience, gained within an in-house corporate Talent Acquisition function and/or recruitment agency environment.\nDemonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment, from talent sourcing and assessment through to offer management and onboarding.\nStrong knowledge of recruitment strategies, direct sourcing, market mapping, interviewing and candidate assessment methodologies.\nExperience supporting local and/or regional recruitment, with the ability to effectively manage multiple roles and stakeholders across different functions and markets.\nExperience in campus recruitment, internship or early-career hiring programmes would be an advantage, including engagement with educational institutions.\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner and provide talent advisory to hiring managers and business leaders.\nGood understanding of the insurance or financial services talent landscape would be advantageous.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders at different levels.\nProficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR platforms such as Workday, LinkedIn and other recruitment and sourcing tools.\nWhen you join our team:\n\nWe’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.\nWe’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.\nAs part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.\nAbout Manulife and John Hancock\nManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
