You will have an active voice in a collaborative and supportive team where we get work done together, take ownership, and share accountability for quality outcomes.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nReview and translate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing meaningful and timely feedback to product and development teams. \nCreate, maintain, and execute automated regression and performance test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Xray, Postman, and JMeter. \nUse AI-enabled tools and practices to support test planning, test design, defect analysis, test automation, and quality documentation, while validating outputs for accuracy, compliance, quality standards, and alignment with business objectives. \nAnalyze automation results, investigate failures, and communicate findings clearly to relevant partners. \nDesign detailed, comprehensive, and traceable test plans and test cases. \nPerform manual functional and regression testing when automation is not appropriate or practical. \nDefine and monitor key performance indicators for product quality and reporting. \nTrack quality assurance metrics, including defect density, defect frequency, and first-time pass rate. \nStay current with testing tools, software, frameworks, and quality engineering practices. \nPromote quality-focused methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle. \nIdentify quality assurance process bottlenecks and design practical improvements. \nMaintain and communicate new or revised quality standards and technical changes. \nPrepare and deliver formal quality audit reports. \nRequired Qualifications:\n3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including advanced experience with test automation. \nExperience developing comprehensive test plans and test cases. \nHands-on experience with testing and automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Xray, and Jira. \nSolid knowledge of testing approaches, including UI testing, automated testing, and behavior-driven development/testing. \nAbility to identify quality engineering best practices and determine where to apply them, including risk-based testing. \nFamiliarity with black-box and white-box testing practices. \nA collaborative approach and willingness to coach colleagues, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge, skills, and methods.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience applying AI-assisted techniques to test analysis, test design, defect investigation, test automation development, and quality documentation. \nA learning mindset and the ability to apply insights from both successes and setbacks. \nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through differing perspectives constructively. \nClear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical vision, options, and outcomes to varied audiences. \nInterest in experimenting with emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact. \nExperience supporting testing deliverables for complex enterprise implementations. \nWhen you join our team:\nWe’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. \nWe’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. \nAs part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see. \nThe role being advertised is an existing vacancy.\nAbout Manulife and John Hancock\nManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
