This is a high-impact role that blends technical leadership with strategic execution in a fast-evolving digital landscape!\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement quality engineering automation to enhance the overall quality and reliability of software products\nDesign and implement automated test strategies for AEM Cloud applications using tools such as Selenium, BrowserStack, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, etc.\nEstablish processes & tools to maintain automation scripts and generate reports for faster bug tracking & reporting\nAnalyze automation results and investigate failures\nDevelop test patterns to evaluate the solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability\nDrive software development process to ensure quality-centric methodologies; captures, records, and implements leading practices for continued QA improvements\nPrepare and deliver formal quality audit reports\nIdentify critical metrics for product quality and tracks the identified quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities, defect frequency, and first-time pass rate\nCollaborate with multi-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to define quality standards and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)\nCollaborate with AEM developers to validate component-level functionality, content authoring workflows, and integration points with backend services\nControl, update and distribute new and revised quality standards and technical changes\nOversee the setup and maintenance of test environments, including cloud-based testing infrastructure and service virtualization\nStay up-to-date on the latest frontend and backend technologies and trends, consistently improving skills and competencies to address diverse application challenges\nMentor and guide other team members on QA/QE practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in testing practices\nDevelop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, performance, and security testing across web and mobile platforms\nRequired Qualifications:\n5-10 years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance, with a strong track record in large-scale, complex software environments\nExperience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud Service applications.\nExtensive experience designing and executing both manual and automated testing strategies.\nStrong hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation, including framework development, maintenance, and CI/CD integration.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\nProficient in developing automation frameworks, tools, and scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript and related technologies.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted testing and automation tools to improve test creation, maintenance, defect detection, test data generation, and overall quality engineering efficiency.\nExperience leading quality engineering practices across the SDLC and mentoring QA engineers.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with AI-powered testing platforms and capabilities such as:AI-assisted test generation\nSelf-healing test automation\nIntelligent test execution and prioritization\nAI-based visual validation and defect detection\nGenerative AI tools supporting quality engineering workflows\n\nExperience with additional automation frameworks including Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, and API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.\nExperience with cross-browser and cross-device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.\nExperience with website quality, accessibility, SEO, and content validation tools such as Siteimprove.\nExperience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.\nExperience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, QA governance, release quality controls, and defect management practices.\nKnowledge of cloud-native application development and cloud fundamentals.\nExperience testing enterprise digital platforms, CMS solutions, and customer-facing web applications.\nWhen you join our team:\nWe’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.\nWe’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.\nAs part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.\nAbout Manulife and John Hancock\nManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
