The role assists in implementing established compliance processes and procedures through accurate execution of\nPosition Responsibilities:\nPerform enhanced due diligence reviews in accordance with established procedures and document findings for further assessment.\nPrepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) through the AMLC portal within prescribed timelines and maintain supporting records.\nPrepare and submit Covered Transaction Reports (CTRs) through the AMLC portal in accordance with reporting requirements.\nTrack and consolidate completion records for New Hire Mandatory Training Programs and compliance-related refresher courses (e.g., AML/CTF, Code of Conduct, Anti-Fraud).\nAssist in conducting quality assurance testing of AML processes and system enhancements based on approved testing procedures and document test results.\nPrepare and consolidate data for the monthly SALCTWM (Suspicious Transactions, Large Cash Prepare and update quarterly AML Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reports using available data and reporting templates.\nComplete and coordinate the submission of annual AML questionnaires required by banking partners.\nCoordinate meeting logistics and attendance tracking for AML Committee meetings.\nAssist in updating AML Committee and Board presentation materials with relevant information and reporting data.\nAssist in updating regulatory inventories and authoritative sources in Archer.\nAssist in gathering information and coordinating with functional units for regulatory impact assessments and gap analysis activities.\nProvide administrative and coordination support for Compliance Coordinators activities, including communications, follow-ups, and record maintenance.\nMaintain compliance records, trackers, and supporting documentation in accordance with established procedures and record-keeping requirements.\nPerform other compliance-related duties and special projects as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum 3 years relevant experience in insurance, financial services industry or regulatory bodies in Compliance.\nMust have knowledge of local insurance laws and regulations.\nKnowledgeable on the Anti Money Laundering and Anti Terrorist Financing law.\nFamiliar with AML systems and AML reporting tools.•Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with various stakeholders.\nAble to work independently and proactively, team player.\nSupport on local and regional projects.\nAble to work under pressure with good Compliance judgement skill.•Possesses analytical & interpersonal skills.\nWhen you join our team:\nWe’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.\nWe’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.\nAs part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.\nAbout Manulife and John Hancock\nManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
