Help shape the future you want to see - and discover that better can take you anywhere you want to go.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with fellow data engineering colleagues across the organization to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient data engineering solutions\nDesigns, builds, and maintains reliable, efficient and scalable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis.\nImplements data orchestration pipelines, data sourcing, cleansing, augmentation, and quality control processes.\nCollaborates with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data infrastructure requirements.\nDesigns, builds and maintains scalable data solutions including data pipelines, data models, and applications for efficient and reliable data workflow; including those specifically tailored for machine learning workflows.\nDesigns, implements, and maintains existing and future data platforms like data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouses for structured and unstructured data.\nCollaborates with Data Scientists and Engineers to create features and pre-process data for ML models and move data analysis models into production.\nDesigns and develops analytical tools, algorithms, data landscape modernization roadmaps, and programs to support Data Engineering activities like writing scripts and automating tasks.\nUtilizes a variety of data interchange formats to ensure data requirements are met and continuously monitors data integrity across the organization.\nDeploys machine learning models with existing production systems and workflows, considering compatibility with other systems, data sources, and APIs.\nDesigns and promotes effective use of data querying APIs to provide easy access to organizational data sources.\nEvaluates, integrates, and manages tools and frameworks within the data engineering ecosystem, ensuring compatibility and efficiency in model development and deployment.\nDesigns and promotes data versioning and lineage tracking, including transparency and traceability for data used in ML model training and inference.\nJob Requirements:\n4 or more years of experience as a data engineer or data scientist with proficiency in big data engineering\nAbility to collaborate effectively in a large highly matrixed organization with many different data teams\nExpert in SQL and PySpark\nKnowledge of database systems, data lakes, and NoSQL databases\nKnowledge of data warehouse concepts and architectures and working with Parquet files\nProficiency in using job orchestration tools like Roadrunner\nFamiliarity with data quality and data modelling tools\nProficiency in using version control systems like Git for managing codebase\nExperience with Azure cloud environment especially Azure Data Factory, ADLS, and Databricks\nExperience with integrating to back-end/legacy environments\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working on Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban \nExperience with Call Centre analytics and operations\nExperience with vector databases and AI engineering\nBilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
