You will serve as the AI Product Owner for business domain AI products, working closely with business stakeholders to rapidly translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions and measurable outcomes, combining strong business acumen, stakeholder leadership, and hands-on AI expertise to deliver measurable business outcomes\nThis role requires deep practical experience in modern AI and GenAI techniques, including machine learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI, and AI orchestration frameworks etc. Beyond delivering AI solutions, you will help advance Manulife's AI capabilities by driving technical innovation, establishing best practices, and contributing reusable assets and standards across the global AI community\nPositions Responsibilities:\n\nBusiness Domain AI Solution Design and Delivery\n\n- Partner with business leaders across functions to define domain level AI strategy, identifying opportunities where AI can drive measurable impact and defining AI product roadmap aligned with business priorities\nTranslate complex business challenges into practical AI solutions, defining user journeys, AI approaches, target-state experiences, and success metrics while aligning data, architecture, and platform requirements with Data and Technology teams\n- Act as the AI Product Owner and lead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives, partnering with Business Product Owners and Technology teams to define delivery approaches and orchestrate cross-functional execution\n- Navigate organizational complexity by connecting stakeholders, structuring ambiguous problems, challenging conventional ways of working, and driving improvements to AI delivery, technical capabilities, and operational effectiveness\nRapidly prototype, test, and iterate AI solutions with business users, validating value hypotheses and refining approaches based on user feedback and operational outcomes\n- Manage the AI delivery squad for domain-wide AI products, including Data Scientists, AI Engineers, AI Architects etc., driving direction, accountability, and effective collaboration with the cross-functional delivery team\n- Monitor solution adoption, performance, and value impact, and drive an effective feedback loop with users to ensure sufficient business outcomes and comprehensive product roadmap with enhancements required\nAI & GenAI Technical Development & Advancement\n\n- Lead the design, development, and optimization of AI and GenAI solutions for the domain AI products, focusing on:\nSupervised and unsupervised AI models\nStatistical analysis\nLarge Language Models (LLMs) for documents with complex structure\nPrompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation frameworks\nModel orchestration, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop design.\nDrive the advancement of Manulife’s AI and GenAI Capabilities globally, evaluating emerging AI techniques, conducting experimentation, and identifying opportunities to bridge advanced AI techniques to business problems\nPartner with AI Engineers, AI Architects, Data Engineers, Technology teams to productionize AI solutions, ensuring sufficient scalability, monitoring, and lifecycle management\nEstablish and contribute to common modelling standards, governance, and reusable AI assets, in collaboration with Regional and Global AI teams\nServe as a technical leader and mentor within the AI team, providing guidance on solution design, AI methodologies, best practices etc.\nRequired Qualifications\n6 -
