Flexibility during quarter-end and year-end close periods is expected.\nWhat You'll Do\nAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close process for assigned areas\n\nPrepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for revenue and AR related accounts\n\nManage full accounts receivable processes for committed customers, including invoice preparation, collections, maintaining customer billing portals, and reserve recommendations\n\nRespond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, taxation, and completion of invoicing prerequisites (i.e. procuring of purchase orders, completion of supplier registration forms)\n\nManage the order to cash process, reviewing contracts, syncing opportunities from SalesForce to Netsuite, and setting up sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance\n\nSupport business processes by partnering with other departments, including but not limited to the FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales\n\nAssist with preparation for the annual financial statement audit\n\nWhat We Believe are Important Traits for This Role\n3+ years of accounting experience, including 1-3 years of revenue accounting experience.\n\nBS in Finance or Accounting\n\nNetsuite or similar ERP system experience required\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple tasks at once\n\nStrong time management and organizational skills\n\nResults focused while ensuring weekly/monthly billing deadlines are met\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nPluses, but not required\nCPA with Big 4 experience\n\nExperience with Stripe, Salesforce, and FloQast\n\nExperience with usage-based or consumption-based revenue models\n\nWhat We Value\nIn addition to our core values, which are not unique to this position and are necessary for Mapbox leaders:\nWe value high-performing creative individuals who dig into problems and opportunities.\n\nWe believe in individuals being their whole selves at work.
