As we continue to win new work in our Civil Department of the company, we are looking for great people like you join our team!\nThis role offers experienced Project Coordinator the opportunity to grow within a general contracting company. We welcome candidates with the skills, initiative, and drive to progress into Project Manager roles.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the planning and delivery of heavy civil and industrial type projects under the direction of a Project Manager.\nAssist with preparing budgets and construction schedules, setting up project administration files, and maintaining accurate project documentation.\nSupport estimating, cost tracking, and schedule updates to help the team monitor project progress.\nInitiate and maintain correspondence with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers under the Project Manager’s direction.\nAssist with identifying suppliers and subcontractors, obtaining quotations, and clarifying scopes of work.\nBuild and maintain productive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.\nMaintain a continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements and Maple’s Corporate Health and Safety Policy.\nAttend site meetings, document follow up items and assist with resolving project deficiencies and supporting closeout.\nAssist with tender preparation and closing in consultation with senior managers.\nAssist with coordinating projects delivered under various contract types, including Design-Build and Plan and Spec.\nQualifications and Skills\n1 or more years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry. Preferably with a general contractor.\nA university degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.\nAn understanding of construction documentation, drawings, specifications, budgets, and schedules.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.\nClear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders.\nA commitment to site safety, quality, and working in accordance with applicable requirements and company policies.\nInitiative, a willingness to learn, and an interest in developing toward a Project Manager role.\nExperience in Water or wastewater projects is considered a strong asset.\nAbout Maple Reinders:\nMaple Reinders is one of Canada’s most respected and trusted construction firms, delivering innovative solutions for over 55 years.
