No matter where you work in the Maples Group, you will be part of a global team.\nAbout Your New Role\nCore Duties:\nResponsible for the preparation and review of medium to complex net asset valuations for a portfolio of hedge funds in accordance with applicable policies and procedures;\nInvolvement in all client related administrative functions and liaison with internal and external parties including investment managers, prime brokers, custodians and other transaction counterparties for transaction processing and NAV preparation in various international jurisdictions, if required; \nLiaison with auditors to provide requested information and respond to queries, if required;\nDevelop a comprehensive understanding of constitutional documentation and the operational structure of clients\nDeliver high levels of client service, ensuring that each relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures;\nActing in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements, including complying with all policies and procedures and internal guidance notes;\nAcquire and develop a mastery of the systems used for client and internal reporting; \nAssisting managers in compiling ad hoc reports and operational metrics as required by management;\nCoordinate with various teams within the organization to ensure client queries and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.\nProvide training and guidance to the junior staff; \nReporting business issues to the relevant management ;\nEnsure the proprietary database is completed with accurate data by the take-on point of the client\n•Reviewing data entry for new client and fund setups and management reports;\nResponding to internal stakeholder queries promptly, accurately and with a high degree of professionalism;\nDeveloping effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, and other relevant parties, and responding promptly and professionally to requests;\nDisplaying a strong team focus and willingness to assist other team members when required;\nAssisting team members with general administrative tasks and liaising with other departments as required.\nAd-hoc projects, including reporting, as required\nAbout You\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written English\nDegree Holder in Accounting or Finance\nProfessional accounting designation is a plus\nGood Excel skills such as Vlookup, Pivot Table, and experiencein Power Query area plus.\nA team player with good time management skills, positive thinking and willing to learn attitude\nAbility to handle work/client deliverables with tight deadlines.\nDemonstrating a commitment to acquiring new capabilities, constantly striving to improve performance.\nExhibiting integrity;\nMaintaining and promoting corporate values in conducting internal and external business activities and when interacting with colleagues;\nAdhering to the highest individual ethical and social standards when dealing with colleagues and clients;\nBeing aware of the sensitivity of information and treat it appropriately;\nDemonstrating a high productivity level in work through time and cost control.\nConsistently producing high volumes of work whilst maintaining a proficient performance on the job;\nGenerating original ideas, finding more efficient/effective ways of doing jobs and making useful suggestions for improvements;\nBeing effective in organizing own work, showing an ability to meet deadlines;\nDelivering value to internal stakeholders by consistently providing high-quality service;\nResponding promptly and professionally to requests for assistance\nSound like you?\nIf so, we’d love to hear from you.\nBenefits& Rewards\nThe most enduring professional relationships are reciprocal relationships.
