Learn more at marathon.health\nABOUT THE JOB\nAs an Enrollment Coordinator you are responsible for partnering with Revenue Cycle Analysts and billing specialists to support carrier enrollment functions for medical staff to support our overall healthcare delivery model. The primary function of the Enrollment Coordinator includes supporting medical staff with carrier enrollment tasks across multiple insurance and healthplans.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nWork with commercial payers to enroll providers with our client's insurance plans.\nAssist providers in completing the enrollment applications for commercial payers.\nAct as a liaison between health plans and the organization to resolve enrollment inquiries, and other issues.\nUpdate provider and payer credentialing tables in Athena.\nUnderstand provider-related billing processes and procedures for commercial payers.\nParticipate in the development of internal enrollment processes.\nProvide frequent status updates to Revenue Cycle Team and Operations Leaders regarding enrollment progress through to time of completion.\nTeam player approach partners with Provider Services, Revenue Cycle Management and Field Operations teammates.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School diploma and a minimum of 2 years of medical credentialing experience. Prior professional experience working with personal information and maintaining patient confidentiality. 2 years of experience working with electronic medical record software Athena is strongly preferred. Prior credentialing and database experience is also preferred.\nDESIRED ATTRIBUTES\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control\nHighly organized with the ability to track and manage multiple enrollments simultaneously\nStrong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively\nSelf-motivated and results-oriented with a high level of ownership and accountability\nPersistent and proactive in following up with payers through completion\nAdaptable and eager to learn in a changing environment with evolving payer requirements\nAnalytical mindset with strong math and problem-solving skills to support reporting and identify enrollment gaps impacting claims\nProficient with computer software, databases, EMRs, and tracking tools (Athena experience preferred)\nExperience supporting and monitoring CAQH profiles, including initial setup, attestations, re-attestations, and issue resolution\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills\nProvider-focused, patient, and service-oriented\nCollaborative team player who partners effectively with revenue cycle teammates, credentialing, and provider teams\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment\nDemonstrates integrity and discretion when handling confidential medical and provider information\nDemonstrates flexibility and willingness to support team priorities beyond core responsibilities as needed\nPay Range: $24.00-30.00/hr\nThe actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level.\nWe are accepting applications for this position until a candidate has been selected.
