# Utility Engineer

Key Requirements HND, ND, or B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2–4 years' hands-on experience in utility operations and maintenance within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Practical experience operating and maintaining power generation systems, water treatment plants (WTP), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), air compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, boreholes, and utility distribution systems. Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices for industrial utility equipment. Ability to troubleshoot utility equipment faults and restore operations with minimal downtime. Experience interpreting engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
