This role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.\nKey responsibilities:\nAs an FX Sales Trader, you will be responsible for:\nProactively identifying, prospecting and acquiring new corporate clients through cold calling, networking, referrals and other business development activities.\nBuilding and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and converting opportunities into revenue-generating clients.\nAchieving and exceeding individual sales and revenue targets through consistent business development activity.\nPromoting a range of FX products, including Spot, Forwards, NDFs and FX Options.\nCollaborating closely with the Dealing team to deliver competitive pricing and risk management solutions to clients.\nDeveloping and executing sales strategies to grow market share and expand the client base.\nIdentifying opportunities to increase wallet share and deepen existing client relationships.\nMaintaining accurate records of sales activity, client interactions and pipeline progression within the CRM system.\nWorking closely with Compliance, Operations and Dealing teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and client experience.\n\nEssential experience & skills:\nWe want to set you up for success and we believe these experiences and skills will help you thrive in this role:\nProven track record of generating new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting and client acquisition\nMinimum 3 years' experience in FX sales, corporate banking or a related financial services sales environment\nStrong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets\nExperience selling FX and risk management solutions to SMEs and Mid-Corporates\nExcellent prospecting, negotiation and closing skills\nHighly motivated, resilient and comfortable operating in a target-driven environment\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills\nExperience working for a commercial bank, FX broker or non-bank FX provider is preferred\n\nSalary range: Euro 30,000 - 40,000\nMarex is fully committed to being an inclusive employer and providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment process for all.
