The Infrastructure group delivers operations and engineering across Infrastructure Operations, Network, Communications, Endpoint and Platform Engineering teams with a key focus on Infrastructure as Code/automation & innovation. IT also includes the global IT Service Desk providing support and self-service to business users across Marex, and our Service Management team that runs core ITSM processes and develops our departmental tooling.\nThe Service Desk Team is responsible for the general IT/desktop and voice infrastructure support for their assigned region. The team works closely with other IT departments and different lines of business.\nOverall Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate logging of all incidents, services requests, and changes in the Service Desk system (JIRA)\nResponsible for management and timely resolution of Service Desk tickets\nPractice effective escalation of tickets needed\nDeal with all users in a professional and efficient manner\nCollaborate and share best practices with other IT team members through our internal knowledge base system\nSupport standard Microsoft technologies, phones, and trading applications\nBuild, image, upgrade, and maintain both laptops and desktops\nDocument and maintain new technologies and identify how they can help the business\nEnsure technical skills are kept up to date with company requirements\nEndeavor to align working practices to ITIL framework where appropriate\nManage PC setups/desk moves as required\nAct as lead for additional ad hoc responsibilities for the team, including entering IT invoices in PeopleSoft, handling moves and logistics, etc.\nOccasional travel to Data Center and other offices in the assigned region may be required\nUnderstand and comply with any Sarbanes Oxley operational requirements relevant to their role\nEnsure compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges\nThe Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time\nBachelor's degree in computer science or related field\nMinimum of 3-4 years' experience in banking/financial services highly desired\nExperience with the following technologies preferred: Standard Microsoft, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Windows Serve (AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO), Microsoft Exchange/Office365, Cisco Call Manager\nExperience with the following applications: Bloomberg, TT, IceChat, WebIce, Future Source, Citrix, Cloud9, Office 365, LMESelect, Fidesa, Neon, CQG, OMS Options City, IOA (Whentech), Reuters, Mimecast, Global Protect, CrowdStrike, Teams, CME, Trayport\nExperience in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements\nCompany Values\nActing as a role model for the values of the Company:\nRespect - Clients are at the heart of our business, with superior execution and superb client service the foundation of the firm.
