The team is charged with ensuring the Group meets the financial reporting and control obligations of a global regulated group. The LEC Team support the other finance areas such as FP&A, Regulatory, Product Control, Treasury and tax which together form the Finance Department.\nRole Summary\nThe purpose of this role is to be a key member of the Legal Entity Control (LEC) team and ensure the integrity of the Group and its subsidiaries financial information. The role would cover and support all aspects of finance that falls under the LEC Team which is an integral part of the wider Finance Team. As a senior member of the team this role will encompass a line management and review aspect.\nResponsibilities\nRole specific:\nThe major deliverables of the Legal Entity Control team are:\nPreparation of annual financial statements for a number of entities under various accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, FRS102 mainly);\nSupporting the Financial Reporting Team in the preparation of key notes to the Group Annual and Quarterly Reports (prepared in Workiva);\nPrepare monthly analytical review on legal entity income statement and balance sheet;\nManaging the month end process to Group reporting deadlines;\nPreparation of monthly management reports;\nManagement of balance sheet substantiation and intercompany reconciliation processes; \nPreparation, review and challenge of LEC controlled balance sheet reconciliations; \nManage audit process and ad-hoc enquiries from external auditors;\nInvolvement in developing and enhancing existing processes; \nIntegration of new acquisitions into the monthly reporting cycle;\nSupporting business change.
