This includes making effective use of cash and other financial instruments, and ensuring enough cash is available for upcoming obligations.\nRole Summary\nThis role is within Marex’s Group Treasury Operations department. This role will include coverage of all daily tasks undertaken by the Treasury Operation Team, including Cash Management, Reconciliations, Payments, Exchange & Bank Reconciliations, Client Money Reconciliation, General Ledger Postings and Systems Administration. The Treasury Operations department covers all aspects of Cash Management, Securities Settlements & Reconciliations, Payments, Exchange & Bank Reconciliations, Client Money Reconciliation.\nAll employees are expected to understand and comply with any Sarbanes Oxley operational requirements relevant to their role.\n Overall Responsibilities\nAs part of the Treasury Operations team covering:\nDaily cash management of APAC bank accounts\nProcessing and control of all payments and Treasury related products\nManagement of Exchange (SGX, ASX, HKEX), Broker, Counterparty and Client Payments\nDaily and monthly Nostro reconciliations and investigations\nReconciliation of FX balances and processing of daily FX settlements\nDaily reconciliation of Term Deposits and Non-Cash Collateral held with Clearing Houses/Exchanges\nClient SSI set-up and ongoing management\nEscalation point of contact for all queries received relating to cash management and payment queries.\nPerformance of the daily client money reconciliation.\nProviding coverage for other Operation teams daily deliverables, including futures clearing. \nUnderstand the flow of data from back office systems through to the General Ledger, and the effects of the cash flows on Liquidity\nDeliver improvements and drive efficiencies across Treasury Operations processes and controls\nEnsuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements.\nAdhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.\nRole model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.\nAt all times complying with the Marex’s Code of Conduct.\nTo ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.\nTo report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.\nTo escalate risk events immediately.\nTo provide input to risk management processes, as required.\nThe Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time\nCompetencies, Skills and Experience\nCompetencies\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nA collaborative team player, approachable, self-efficient and influences a positive work environment\nDemonstrates curiosity\nResilient in a challenging, fast-paced environment\nExcels at building relationships, networking and influencing others\nStrategic collaborator with insight and agility, able to anticipate future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness\nSkills and Experience\nAwareness of Client Money regulations\nIn depth knowledge of daily cash management processes\nKnowledge of payment systems and processes including SWIFT (MT103, MT202, etc)\nTreasury operations experience including Money Market and FX settlements experience\nNostro reconciliations and investigations experience\nAbility to work to deadlines, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail\nAbility to work in pressurized situations, prioritizing workload\nGood communications skills to deal with both internal and external contacts\nAn understanding of Futures and Options Products and Reconciliations\nExperience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.\nCompany Values\nActing as a role model for the values of the Company:\nBe collaborative - by working together across the organization, we foster teamwork, can better respond to challenges and successfully deliver for our clients\nAct with integrity - we pride ourselves on our honesty and high ethical standards.
