The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with hands-on mechanical aptitude and the ability to work across diverse lab environments.\nThis position requires working full-time on-site at our Moab, UT facility.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport and optimize analytical methodologies across multiple Mariana Minerals laboratory sites\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to analytical techniques, data quality, and method performance\n\nLead and support implementation of new instrumentation (e.g., ICP-OES, ICP-MS, Atomic Absorption, or similar systems)\n\nDevelop, validate, and standardize analytical methods and workflows\n\nTrain laboratory personnel on instrumentation, analytical techniques, and best practices\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve analytical efficiency and data reliability\n\nAssist in evaluating new technologies and recommending improvements to existing systems\n\nMaintain documentation for methods, SOPs, and internal technical guidance\n\nProvide internal technical support for complex analytical challenges\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (recent graduates encouraged to apply)\n\nHands-on experience (academic, internship, or research) with ICP-OES, ICP-MS, Atomic Absorption, or similar analytical instrumentation preferred\n\nStrong understanding of analytical techniques, sample preparation, and data interpretation\n\nMechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, instrumentation components, and basic diagnostics equipment (e.g., multimeters/voltmeters)\n\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to train and support internal teams\n\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple sites\n\nTravel Requirements\nUp to 50% travel, primarily within the continental United States\n\nOccasional international travel may be required\n\nOur culture is built on four principles:\nEveryone Gets Home Safe.
