We’re reimagining the minerals supply chain by combining deep industry expertise with advanced software, automation, and data-driven decision-making.\nRole Overview\nMariana Minerals is looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to work on building the critical minerals supply chain to support the world’s energy transition.\nAs a Full Stack Software Engineer at Mariana Minerals, you will lead the development and deployment of software to accelerate the engineering and construction of physical infrastructure that is critical to building the minerals supply chain. Responsibilities will include building integrations with the existing software tools for engineering and construction, extending these tools to fill in gaps and address pain points identified by Mariana’s internal engineering and construction teams, working with Mariana’s ML engineers to integrate LLMs to tackle specific challenges around unstructured data ingestion and understanding, and working with Mariana’s internal teams to develop a new “operating system” for the engineering, construction, and operation of Mariana’s mineral processing facilities.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork closely with Mariana’s internal engineering, construction, and operations teams to identify and build internal software tools to accelerate the deployment of Mariana’s mineral processing facilities.\n\nBuild data integrations with the existing suite of engineering/construction tools such as Autodesk.\n\nBuild net new web experiences and applications that will be used by Mariana's internal teams and partners to help build capital project faster and more efficiently.\n\nEvaluate existing software in the ecosystem to assist Mariana’s internal teams\n\nWork closely with Mariana’s ML engineers to implement novel LLM powered experiences that assist Mariana’s internal teams.\n\nAssist with the data architecture for Mariana’s data pipelines to feed the training of novel ML models that control Mariana’s mineral processing facilities and provide visibility into the operation of the facilities to the internal Mariana team.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nStrong understanding of software engineering in a professional capacity (1.5+ years preferred).\n\nAbility to work with non-software stakeholders to identify pain points and needs, scope level of effort required for new features, and then drive implementation of these features.\n\nSelf-starter mindset, ability to bring clarity to high ambiguity situations, and excitement to work with non-software stakeholders directly.\n\nAbility to work across the entire stack from deploying servers to writing front end code and everything in between (or demonstrated proficiency in one of these areas and the desire to expand your skillset).\n\nOur culture is built on four principles:\nEveryone Gets Home Safe. We never put speed or cost ahead of people.\nExtreme Ownership. We take full responsibility for outcomes, relentlessly driving toward solutions.\nEngineer Out Requirements, then Automate. We simplify, optimize, and then automate for scale.\nShare Your Legos. We collaborate openly, share knowledge, and empower each other to build bigger, better solutions.\nJoin us as we build the future of responsible mineral sourcing and supply!","description_format":"text","description_chars":3418,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Mining","Mining Tech","Non-ferrous Metals"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-01T01:50:46Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 15","filings_12m":15,"filings_prev_12m":2,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":152500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":3}],"liveness":{"score":23,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.52,"p_room":0.44,"age_days":46,"expected_fill_days":40,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","velocity","win:tail","crowd:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-17T05:46:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":160000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mariana-minerals-full-stack-software-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mariana-minerals-full-stack-software-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-17T10:21:19Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":13501,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-18T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":8004},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=8004"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-full-stack-software-engineer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-full-stack-software-engineer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-full-stack-software-engineer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/mariana-minerals-full-stack-software-engineer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-full-stack-software-engineer"}]}
