We’re reimagining the minerals supply chain by combining deep industry expertise with advanced software, automation, and data-driven decision-making.\nAs a Process & Lab Technician, you'll support safe, efficient and high-quality process development studies and analytical tests. You'll work closely with R&D and engineering to build, operate and maintain ore leaching columns, and you'll deliver timely, accurate and actionable chemical analysis of ore, process streams and final products. You'll play a critical role in bridging leaching research and lab analytics with plant operations, helping make sure processes are robust, efficient and ready for future development and scale-up. This is a hands-on production lab at a working mine, not a clean lab. Expect dust, noise, acid fumes and mud.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDrive ore handling including crushing, sorting by particle size, and taking representative samples\n\nPrepare samples for analysis using techniques such as digestion, dilution, and/or filtration\n\nPerform elemental and compositional analysis of solid and liquid samples using ICP, NMR, XRF, Titrator, or similar analytical techniques\n\nDocument analytical results in laboratory information systems and maintain clear experimental records and material metrics using digital tools and software\n\nFollow strict environmental, health, and safety protocols\n\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience working in minerals processing, metallurgy, chemicals, specialty materials, or similar industrial environments\n\nFamiliarity with chemical processing (pumps, columns, instrumentation, etc) or crushing equipment (crushers, grinders, conveyors, sorters, etc)\n\nAbility to read and follow SOPs, equipment manuals, and safety guidelines\n\nMechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mechanical fabrication and troubleshooting\n\nHands-on experience operating analytical or similar equipment\n\nStrong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams\n\nCommitment to safety, accuracy, and operational excellence\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods\n\nOur culture is built on four principles:\nEveryone Gets Home Safe. We never put speed or cost ahead of people.\nExtreme Ownership. We take full responsibility for outcomes, relentlessly driving toward solutions.\nEngineer Out Requirements, then Automate. We simplify, optimize, and then automate for scale.\nShare Your Legos. We collaborate openly, share knowledge, and empower each other to build bigger, better solutions.\nJoin us as we build the future of responsible mineral sourcing and supply!","description_format":"text","description_chars":2780,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Mining","Mining Tech","Non-ferrous Metals"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T17:15:00Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 15","filings_12m":15,"filings_prev_12m":2,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":152500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-29T16:27:21+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":38,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.504,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":37,"expected_fill_days":40,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","velocity","win:late"],"computed_at":"2026-10-31T05:58:55Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mariana-minerals-lab-technician","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mariana-minerals-lab-technician.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-01T04:52:00Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":7521,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-02T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":8004},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=8004"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-lab-technician"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-lab-technician"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-lab-technician"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/mariana-minerals-lab-technician\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fmariana-minerals-lab-technician"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":1149758}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"marianaminerals.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":1149758},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
