You'll play a critical role in developing creative sourcing strategies, uncovering hard-to-find talent, and building long-term relationships with candidates before they're actively looking.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys research, thrives on solving difficult hiring challenges, and wants to help build a company from the ground up.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for highly technical roles across teams\n\nBuild targeted searches that identify exceptional technical talent across multiple industries and research communities\n\nResearch, identify, and engage passive candidates through highly personalized outreach\n\nPartner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical requirements, hiring priorities, and market dynamics\n\nTranslate complex or evolving role requirements into effective sourcing strategies\n\nBuild and maintain long-term relationships with high-potential candidates\n\nConduct talent mapping, competitive intelligence, and market research to inform hiring strategies\n\nContinuously improve sourcing methodologies, tooling, and recruiting processes\n\nTrack sourcing metrics and provide market insights to recruiting leaders and hiring managers\n\nRepresent Mariana Minerals through a thoughtful and engaging candidate experience\n\nHelp shape and strengthen Mariana Minerals' employer brand and technical talent narrative\n\nStay current on sourcing technology, AI-assisted sourcing tools, and emerging channels to reach specialized technical talent\n\nBuild diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill and highly specialized roles\n\nDesired Qualifications\n5-8+ years of experience sourcing technical talent in a high-growth startup or technology company\n\nExpert in utilizing ATS tools (preference for Ashby)\n\nStrong expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, Boolean search, Indeed, GitHub, research platforms, and other creative sourcing techniques\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical roles\n\nExperience partnering directly with engineering leaders and hiring managers\n\nExcellent research skills with the ability to understand technical domains and evaluate technical talent\n\nStrong written communication skills with experience crafting personalized candidate outreach\n\nAbility to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining a high quality bar\n\nData-driven approach to sourcing strategy and pipeline management\n\nStrong closing and negotiating skills\n\nHigh ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments\n\nPassion for building exceptional teams and creating outstanding candidate experiences\n\nNice to Have\nPrior experience recruiting for hardware, robotics, industrial automation, or deep tech companies\n\nExperience sourcing for niche or emerging technical disciplines (e.g., materials science, controls engineering, applied AI/ML)\n\nFamiliarity with early-stage or seed-to-Series B recruiting environments\n\nExperience building a sourcing function or playbook from scratch\n\nOur culture is built on four principles:\nEveryone Gets Home Safe.
