This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.\nJob Type\nContractor with BenefitsDepartment\nCounty School SuperintendentAbout the Position\nThe Learning Acceleration Field Specialist (LAFS) works alongside instructional coaches, teachers, and school leaders across multiple sites to strengthen Grades 4-6 literacy instruction. Working primarily through a Student-Centered Coaching model, the LAFS spends most of their time inside classrooms supporting coaches in effective coaching cycles through co-planning, co-teaching, and real-time student support within Tier 1 instruction. The LAFS also provides professional learning in the Science of Reading, Structured Literacy, and Learning Acceleration practices to educators.
