Our mission for the next five years is to close the gap in the number of people missing out on what they need at the end-of-life, through 3 ways:\nGrowing and transforming our direct care and support\nDelivering more practical information and support\nLeading in shaping the end-of-life experience\nWe’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Belfast Hospice.\nThe Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the Hospice Facilities Team, responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring the safe, high-quality upkeep of the hospice’s buildings, equipment, and grounds. The role involves planning and delivering maintenance services, managing staff, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, and supporting compliance with health and safety standards. This position is vital in maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.\nSalary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 5 (aligned with AFC) £32,073 - £39,043 pro rata per annum + enhancements\nContract: Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours over 5 days.\nBased: Belfast Hospice\nOn-call: This role includes participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota to support urgent maintenance needs\nEssential Criteria: HNC or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, and IOSH accredited.
