Troubleshoots complex network, hardware, and software related issues. Interacts with management and team members to provide excellent customer service.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nProject/Platform Support 40% - Support Linux server strategy, deployment, and optimization. Participate in infrastructure and business-driven technology project development and execution. Develop and support operational best practices as they pertain to Linux environments\nOperational Support 40% - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve operation system, software and cloud issues as they pertain to Linux environments. Support security audits and remediation efforts and maintain encryption standards, certificate lifecycles, and security controls. Support patching and config management through Terraform, Ansible, or other related automation tools.\nProblem Management and Continuous Improvement 20% - Respond to service interruptions and participate in root cause analysis activities. Support problem management and reliability by identifying trends, recurring issues, and developing solutions. Focus on technical automation to improve efficiency and reliability of Linux environments.\nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong experience in RedHat Linux\n2+ years experience in cloud-based Linux deployment, preferably AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)\nWorking knowledge of technologies such as Terraform, Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, OpenSSL, AWS, and GCP\nAbility to interpret and apply security requirements to infrastructure and platform solutions.\nStrong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills\nCommitment to automation, operational efficiency, and reduction of technical debt\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently\nParticipation in After-Hours On-Call rotation for systems support\nThings You Should Know\nFor candidates located in St. Louis area - This is a hybrid role based in Fenton, MO (Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday).\nDISCLAIMER: This job description is designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates within this classification.
