You will support the deployment and operation of registration systems, badge printing, session scanning, and other event technologies for live events. Working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams, you will help ensure a seamless attendee experience from planning through event completion. This position requires strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel extensively to support events across various locations.What You’ll Be Doing\nPlan, configure, test, and deploy event registration systems, badge printing, session scanning, and ancillary event technologies.\nPartner with clients, vendors, venues, and internal teams to coordinate event technology requirements, equipment needs, staffing, and logistics.\nLead onsite technology setup, execution, troubleshooting, monitoring, and teardown for live events.\nProvide hands-on support for attendee check-in, badge printing, session tracking, and lead retrieval systems.\nTrain and support onsite staff while ensuring equipment security, inventory accuracy, and service quality.\nMaintain detailed event documentation, reporting, equipment reconciliation, and post-event follow-up activities.\nIdentify system issues and opportunities for process improvements, escalating concerns when necessary.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nCollege degree or equivalent technical certification.\n0-2 years of experience in project coordination, event operations, technology support, or a related field.\nStrong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and support clients in fast-paced environments.\nTechnical aptitude with experience or exposure to hardware, software, networking, databases, or technology platforms.\nExcellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders.\nAbility to consistently lift and transport up to 30 pounds of equipment and supplies.\nAbility to remain calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented during live event operations.\nNice To Have\nExperience supporting corporate meetings, conferences, or live event operations.\nKnowledge of event registration platforms, attendee management systems, or event technology solutions.\nExperience with Cvent, TravelHQ, Capture, badge design, session scanning, or lead retrieval tools.\nExperience troubleshooting hardware and technical equipment in a live environment.\nBackground coordinating vendors, venues, travel logistics, or distributed event teams.\nExperience working directly with clients in time-sensitive or high-pressure situations.\nExposure to budgets, resource planning, or project management processes.\nWorking Logistics & Things You Should Know\nThis is a hybrid role based in the St. Louis area.\nTeam members are expected to work in-office at least one day per week when not traveling.\nThis position requires up to 50% travel, including overnight travel, weekends, early mornings, and extended event days as business needs require.\nTravel will include supporting live events, overseeing technology deployments, and providing onsite client support.\nCandidates must be local to the St. Louis area and comfortable with frequent travel schedules.\nThis position operates primarily on CST (Central Standard Time).\nDISCLAIMER: This job description is designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates within this classification.
