Provide support to staff with questions on account insurance coverage, and escalated complaints. Support, advise and make recommendations regarding the efficient, profitable and effective processing of claims.Essential Functions:\nSupervise the daily activities of staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance\nAssist manager in planning, coordinating and distributing claims workflow\nAssist staff with interpreting account insurance coverage in order to settle claim\nResolve escalated complaints and answer questions from clients regarding services and procedures\nProvide account analysis and audits\nAssist with establishing service benchmarks and reporting on performance measurements\nAssist in researching and recommending new processes for improving departmental procedures\nAssist manager in hiring, training, development and retention of staff\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nProvide recommendations for various projects including processes, account conversions and product development\nProvide internal training to internal customers on claims processes\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nIntermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer) required\nExcellent attention to detail\nAbility to multi-task\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent time management and organizational skills\nAbility to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems\nAbility to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choose the most appropriate one\nAbility to motivate, develop, and supervise people as they work\nKnowledge of claims adjusting\nKnowledge of Collateral Protection Insurance and other products preferred\nKnowledge of policy forms and account insurance coverage\nKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service\nKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems\nKnowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations, pertaining to adjusting claims\nEducation/Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nBachelors degree preferred\n2+ years supervisory/management experience\nP&C Adjuster License\nSubrogation experience preferred\nAuto claims adjusting preferred\nYou must haveability to secure all required state licensing within the first 90 days of employment\nUS Work Authorization\nUS Work Authorization required.
