This collaborative environment delivers FRESH THINKING, reassuring our customers that they choose the best when they choose to work with the people of Dover Food Retail.\nWhat we are looking for:\nWe are looking for an entry level Assembler to complete refrigeration cases or partial sub-assemblies, including tanks, canopies, base frames, hardware kits, plenums, or other parts as assigned. \nWhat you will be responsible for in this role:\nRead and comprehend an “A” order. \nIdentify parts used on their assigned product line, and their placement location on the product itself.\nIdentify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line.\nRead and comprehend the work order.\nPerforms any assembly-type function, using hand or power tools. \nIdentify parts and part descriptions using work order information.\nUtilize appropriate information given on material gauging and dimensioning, etc.\nRead rulers, tape measures, metal squares, and other measuring instruments.\nFasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners.\nWorks at different workstations as production needs require.\nWorks as member of assembly team building units to completion.\nPerforms appropriate preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.\nWhat are the basic qualifications?\n1+ year of manufacturing experience\nKnowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes\nDemonstrated strong and effective communication skills\nMust be able to reach with hands and arms\nMust be able to sit, stoop, and/or kneel\nMust regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\nBe able to stand and walk for the majority of the work day\nMust be fleixble to move or work in variois locations.\nHow We Define Our Values and Why You Should Join Our Team:\nThe backbone behind our collection of outstanding businesses is a team of dedicated employees who protect and enhance our valued reputation for quality and delivering what we promise.
