If so, we want to speak with you about this opportunity!\nAs a Technician at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by being responsible for the basic testing, aligning and troubleshooting of the standard and volume-based products.\nPrimary Responsibilities of this position include:\nSetup and perform repetitive technical electronic test functions with the assistance of more senior technicians and the aide of written procedures and instructions.\nAlign, tune and troubleshoot standard product filters.\nTroubleshoot circuit card assemblies to component level.\nPerform simple electronic assembly such as installing a select-on test component or soldering a tap wire on an inductor during filter alignment in order to get the product to perform to specification properly.\nPerform simple mechanical assembly such as installing a cover or installing cables in order to get the product to perform to specification properly.\nRequired to perform component level troubleshoot and repair of RF hopping filters and subassemblies such as digital controllers, RF Platforms, etc.\nUse of schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.\nStandard product technicians will use Agilent/HP Network Analyzers, and automated tests sets.\nPerform simple continuity tests on wire harnesses per manufacturing drawings and / or wire charts.\nKnowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include:\nMust be well versed in the use of common RF test equipment (including calibration & troubleshooting).\nMust have knowledge of RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss as well as an advance understanding of filter alignment and component function.\nBasic PC skills are required for data entry and use of test software.\nDemonstrates ability to read schematics and troubleshoot simple circuits. \nExposure to commonly used test equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supplies, spectrum analyzer and network analyzer. \nAbility to interface effectively with internal customers.\nAbility to work closely with all levels of the organization.\nHigh level of attention to detail.\nAbility to read drawings and schematics.\nAbility to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification.\nRequirements Include:\nMust be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum 2-year degree in an electronics field from an accredited college, university or technical school required.\nMinimum 2 years of RF related technician’s experience required.\nKnowledge of J-STD-OO1-D preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed is required.\nBenefits Include:\nAnnual incentive plan (bonus)\nPaid vacation and sick time\nUp to 10 paid holidays/year (based on schedule worked)\n4 hours voluntary time off to volunteer for your favorite charity\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance, subject to applicable premium deductions\nShort-term and long-term disability insurance - 100% company paid\nOther ancillary insurance options available\n401(k) retirement account with matching MPG contributions\nProfit Sharing Plan - potential up to 3% of base salary\nEducational Reimbursement up to $5,250 per year\nGym membership reimbursement up to $120 per year\n#LI-HT1 #SWE\n\nThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.\n\nWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
